cybersecurityAirbus‘ defense and space business has partnered with Atos to develop new cybersecurity platforms to help enterprise clients avoid data breaches and manage sophisticated attacks.

The companies forged the alliance in an effort to meet demand for information technology security offerings in multiple sectors, including the defense and financial services industries, Atos said Monday.

“Putting together our expertise will enhance our cybersecurity offer for governments, critical infrastructure and strategic industries,” said Evert Dudok, ADS_cyber_200x200executive vice president of communications, intelligence and security at Airbus Defence and Space.

Atos forecasts the global market for cybersecurity products and services will reach $84 billion in total value by 2016.
