UnisysUnisys‘ Australian subsidiary has landed a two-year, $54 million contract extension to continue its information technology support at 450 defense facilities in Australia.

Unisys Asia Pacific will support approximately 100,000 IT end users within the Australian defense department and programs including emergency disaster response and joint and international military exercises, Unisys said Wednesday.

Lysandra Schmutter, public sector lead for Unisys Asia Pacific, said the company will work to assist in the country’s critical base operations.

The award extends Unisys’ work under the original 2008 contract through October 2018.
