educationMicrosoft has selected defense and security company Saab to join the HoloLens Enterprise Acceleration Program to help bring 3D holographic environment into training and education processes.

Saab said Wednesday it will utilize Microsoft HoloLens for the defense and security company’s training platform in efforts to optimize the learning process and facilitate better retention.

“Mixed-reality technology is truly ground breaking and will revolutionize the way we train, educate and operate across the whole of society,” said Dean Rosenfield, managing director of Saab’s Australian arm.

Rosenfield said the company’s training and simulation team is already working to apply HoloLens technology on civil and military training, simulation and education.
