CenturyLink has included a suite of cybersecurity services in its General Services Administration Schedule contract as the company aims to help customer agencies protect their information technology systems.

The company said Thursday its Enhanced Cybersecurity Services portfolio comprises  email filtering, domain name system protection and signature-based intrusion prevention offerings.

“Adding ECS to our IT Schedule 70 contract underscores our commitment to help state and local governments defend their networks against cyber attacks,” said Tim Meehan, senior vice president and general manager of CenturyLink’s federal business.

CenturyLink is an authorized provider of security services under the Department of Homeland Security‘s ECS program.

DHS introduced the program in an effort to help U.S. public and private sector organizations to guard their IT infrastructure assets from unauthorized access, breaches and data exfiltration.
