cybersecurityNetizen Corp. has landed a five-year, $9.9 million contract to provide cybersecurity, compliance and risk assessment services for the U.S. Army‘s technology systems on classified and unclassified networks.

Allentown, Pennsylvania-based Netizen said Monday it will support the Army’s efforts under the National Institute of Standards and Technology‘s Risk Management Framework Security Control Assessor-Validator.

NIST RMF contains a series of processes that work to assess organizations’ operational and asset security in line with applicable laws, policies, standards and regulations.

Max Harris, Netizen business development chief, said the company secured $11 million in Defense Department contracts over the past year and Netizen has been selected by the Army and various customers to provide its White Glove Service and CyberSecure Solutions platforms.

Harris added the contract will create approximately 15 new jobs and work will occur at military locations across the U.S. and potentially worldwide.
