Summit Technical Solutions Lands USAF Contract for Radar Operations & Maintenance - top government contractors - best government contracting eventSummit Technical Solutions has received a potential $35.5 million prime contract from the U.S. Air Force for the operations, maintenance and logistical support of a missile warning and space surveillance phased-array radar system.

The contract for work on the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System has a base performance period of seven months starting October and one-year option periods totaling five years, STS said Sunday.

PARCS tracks and monitors Earth-orbiting objects to relay missile warning and space surveillance data to the U.S. Strategic Command, North American Aerospace Defense Command and combatant commanders across different regions.

The PARCS OM&S contract aims to support the 21st Space Wing and 21st Operations Group’s 10th Space Warning Squadron at Cavalier Air Force Station in North Dakota, as well as the 14th Air Force within the Air Force Space Command.

STS Founder, President and CEO Kelly Terrien said the company has previously worked with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The company is certified as a women’s business enterprise, veteran-owned small business and woman-owned small business.
