Air Force Seeks Multisource Exploitation Assistant Tool - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe U.S. Air Force has posted a broad agency announcement to solicit proposals for the research, development, integration, test and evaluation of a digital assistant tool that would provide analytical answers.

USAF said in a FedBizOpps notice published Thursday it plans to allocate $24.9 million for the Multi-Source Exploitation Assistant for the Digital Enterprise project and award individual contracts that can range from $100,000 to $3 million.

The service branch aims to build a virtual assistant-like interactive question answering system that can perform analytical tasks and services for an analyst.

According to the notice, USAF also intends for the system to directly answer questions or interact with analysts to help them answer questions, as well as provide different kinds of information from multiple sources or media.

Intended deliverables under the MEADE project are software tools, processes or interfaces for a user to direct, clarify or scope automated analytics.

Interested parties can submit white papers to the service branch through Sept. 30, 2022.
