Vencore has received the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Top Technology Company of the Year award in the category of firms with more than $50 million in annual revenue.

The company said Tuesday it was chosen from among six finalists and 100 total nominees from Northern Virginia’s technology community.

Chantilly, Virginia-based Vencore rebranded to its current name from The SI Organization and completed two acquisitions this year, including a potential $215 million purchase of QinetiQ North America‘s services business.

“Our mission is to deliver high-impact analytical and technical expertise to solve our customers’ complex problems,” said Mac Curtis, Vencore CEO.

“While we have doubled in size and reach during the last twelve months, we have successfully maintained focus on this mission — it has been the cornerstone of our growth.”

NVTC presented the award to the company during the TechCelebration Annual Banquet.
