Intellicheck-MobilisaWilliam Roof, president and CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa, has joined the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators’ National Motor Vehicle Title Information System law enforcement working group as a technical adviser.

Roof said in a release published Monday he will work to support law enforcement efforts in vehicle crime prevention and consumer protection.

The 35-year industry veteran will bring his experience from previous roles with Litton Industries, Science Applications International Corp., Cardinal Health, IntelliDOT and TechFlow.

acquisition1He also served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve and the U.S. Navy and was a federal agent with the Naval Criminal Investigation Service and U.S. military adviser to the United Nations.

NMVTIS works to assist local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in the prevention and investigation of vehicle-related crimes and provide protection to consumers from stolen and unsafe vehicles.

NMVTIS’ Law Enforcement Working Group handles vehicle, title, registration and brand business issue resolution and the implementation of NMVTIS strategies for the law enforcement community.
