accenture_ExecutiveBizAccenture‘s federal services subsidiary has partnered with the 502d Air Base Wing’s Career Skills Program at Joint Base San Antonio to offer transition assistance for military servicemen that seek civilian employment.

Accenture Federal Services said Friday it will provide apprenticeships, on-the-job training, job shadowing and employment skills training to service members to help them enter the civilian workforce.

CSP was established in 2015 under JBSA’s transition program to give credential assistance, training, apprenticeships and internships to active duty soldiers that are transitioning out of military service.

“Military veterans have the leadership, discipline and teamwork skills we look for and are an excellent fit with the important work we do for our federal government clients,” said David Moskovitz, Accenture Federal Services chief executive.

Accenture Federal Services has also issued a $100,000 grant to nonprofit organization NS2 Serves for free training courses to veterans in the technology field.

AFS hires veterans at its San Antonio Technology and Innovation Center and that base includes graduates of the NS2 Serves program.
