rockwell-collins-idvs-1Rockwell Collins will feature a variety of communication, navigation, joint fires and display platforms at the Association of the United States Army’s annual land power exposition and professional development forum.

The company said Wednesday it will demonstrate its new Integrated Digital Vision System helmet-mounted display tool for the U.S. Army during the AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition 2016.

IDVS works to provide warfighters situational awareness by combining and delivering mission data from multiple sources such as command centers, other warfighters or unmanned aerial systems in real time.

The system’s multispectral vision is designed to automatically shift between dark to light environments to deliver a complete view of a user’s surroundings, Rockwell Collins added.

The company will also feature its TruNet ground-air networked communications system, Assured PNT platform and wearable FireStorm integrated targeting system for joint terminal attack controllers and forward air controllers during the event.
