Jason Clark, a general partner at security technology accelerator SixThirty Cyber, has joined the board of directors of Fidelis Cybersecurity.

Clark brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from multiple security companies to the Fidelis board, the company said Thursday.

“Jason has a broad understanding of the market needs of [chief information security officers] from a technology and integration perspective,” said Fidelis CEO Peter George.

George added Clark will contribute his insight into the market needs of CISOs to the company’s focus on the requirements for future security offerings in the marketplace.

Clark began his security career in the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst and later served as chief strategy officer at Optiv and Websense, which Raytheon bought in 2015.

He also held the role of CISO at Emerson, The New York Times and EverBank.
