Dawn Lucini

Dawn Lucini, formerly director of aviation security at Telos Identity Management Solutions, has been promoted to vice president of the company’s aviation security business.

Telos ID said Monday Lucini will lead efforts to increase the aviation sector’s knowledge of channeling, identification management, biometrics and integration service offerings form the company, as well as strengthen the firm’s partnership with aviation technology providers.

She will be Telos ID’s representative to the Airports Council International-North America, the Airports Law Enforcement Agencies Network, the Florida Airports Council and the International Biometrics + Identity Association.

Lucini started her career with ACI-NA, where she served as senior manager for regulatory affairs and helped formulate the council’s public safety and security facilitation policies.

She also served as airport policy branch chief at the Transportation Security Administration, where she assisted in the formulation and application of airport security procedures and requirements.

The U.S. Attorney General appointed Lucini in 2001 to lead the Data Management Improvement Act Task Force that that recommended strategies for Congress to simplify procedures and technologies for managing U.S. travel, tourism and commerce.

She previously collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security‘s Bureau of Customs and Border Protection and US-VISIT Program Office in efforts to update domestic and international passenger facilitation processes.
