Boeing to Implement Assembrix Software for Manufacturing Data Security - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBoeing has selected Israel-based company Assembrix to provide a software platform to help the aerospace and defense contractor secure intellectual property it shares with other vendors through design and additive manufacturing processes.

The Chicago-based company said Monday it will adopt Assembrix technology in efforts distribute and secure 3D printing design information from corruption, interception and unauthorized decryption.

David Ivry, president of Boeing’s Israeli arm, said the agreement works to expand the company’s ties to businesses in the country.

Boeing uses additive manufacturing techniques across 20 sites around the globe and collaborates with suppliers to integrate 3D-printed components into defense, space and commercial platforms.
