Systems Planning and Analysis has received a Labor Department award in recognition of the company’s efforts to recruit and retain former military personnel.

SPA said Friday it is among the 239 firms DOL selected for this year’s HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award program and has earned a platinum recognition.

The department evaluated nominees criteria such as veteran hiring and retention, veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, compensation and tuition assistance.

“We appreciate the unique qualities that military experience brings to bear on the challenges our clients face,” SPA President and CEO William Vantine said.

“We provide the education and training to integrate veterans into our workforce and they provide tremendous value to our teams and our clients.”
