IBM to Help Maintain Army Enterprise Financial System - top government contractors - best government contracting eventIBM has received a two-year, $92.1M contract modification to support a web-based enterprise resource planning system the U.S. Army uses to manage financial, asset and accounting functions.

The Department of Defense said Friday the company will provide services and platforms necessary to maintain the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System.

The Army will obligate $15.2M at the time of award from its fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds.

IBM will perform work in Bethesda, Md., through Jan. 15, 2020.

GFEBS is designed to facilitate exchange of business and procurement data between the Army and its National Guard and Reserve components.
