United Launch Alliance has moved the schedule of its upcoming Atlas 5 rocket launch to accommodate more efforts to address an unspecified component issue, SpaceFlight Now reported Thursday.

Originally planned for July 17, the launch has been rescheduled to take place no earlier than Aug. 8 from Cape Canaveral, Fla. The rocket will carry the fifth satellite of the U.S. Air Force’s Advanced Extremely High Frequency constellation.

“Additional time is needed for the team to review the component anomaly and determine if any corrective action is required to the launch vehicle,” United Launch Alliance said in a statement.

The Lockheed Martin-made AEHF satellites work to provide global communications for warfighters across multiple domains.
