Mettle Ops has received a three-year, $20M other transaction agreement to help the U.S. Army meet survivability and equipment requirements of ground vehicles.

It will provide program management, design, simulations, analysis and documentation to Army Combat Capability Development Center's Ground Vehicle Systems Center, the company said Monday.

The OTA provides for the delivery of virtual and physical prototypes designed to boost the survivability of ground vehicles such as the Abrams Main Battle Tank, Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the Next Generation Combat Vehicle.

“Focused efforts on safety provide soldiers with equipment that better protects them, meaning more soldiers come home with less long-term health problems,” said Katie Bigelow, founder of Mettle Ops.

The Department of Defense’s Ordnance Technology Consortium supports the contract.
