ServiceNow’s GovCommunityCloud data center secured provisional authority to operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s High baseline to help government agencies carry out cloud migration efforts.

The FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board granted the P-ATO in validation of ServiceNow’s automated workflow offerings that work to speed up the movement of personal identifiable information and controlled unclassified data in the cloud, the company said Wednesday.

ServiceNow has also taken efforts to apply for an Impact Level 4 authorization from the Department of Defense in a move to accommodate higher levels of data classification.

“In an increasingly digitized world, it is imperative that federal agencies move to the cloud on highly secure platforms to protect their most mission-critical information while addressing digital transformation,” said Brian Marvin, vice president of federal sales at ServiceNow.
