BlackBerry has introduced an enterprise security platform designed to help customers detect and mitigate cyber threats to mobile devices.

CylancePROTECT is built with an artificial intelligence tool that works to identify security gaps and malicious activities on devices using BlackBerry's Unified Endpoint Management software, the company said Wednesday.

The security platform employs a zero-trust architecture to proactively monitor system parameters, operating system updates, device configurations and system libraries without causing user disruptions.

“With CylancePROTECT, BlackBerry UEM customers can now manage and secure all of their mobile endpoints across all devices, networks and applications from a single console,” said John Chen, executive chairman and CEO at BlackBerry.

Research and advisory company Gartner advised information technology organizations in a report to implement mobile threat defense tools designed to avoid malware attacks.
