Charles River Analytics Unveils Health Diagnostic App Dev’t Project - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Charles River Analytics, Tozny, Assured Information Security and the University of Washington have collaborated to develop a tool that will work to trace signals that could indicate signs of injury and illnesses.

The Health and Injury Prediction and Prevention using Complex Reasoning and Analytic Techniques Integrated on a Cellphone, or HIPPOCRATIC, application will help diagnose diseases in efforts to prevent warfighters from infecting other people and return to duty early, Charles River said Wednesday.

The company noted the app will detect potential signs of illnesses and will monitor related symptoms through the use of smartphone sensors.

Bethany Bracken, principal scientist at Charles River and chief investigator for the project, said HIPPOCRATIC will utilize Tozny’s TozStore encryption tool to secure user data.
