JAIC Issues RFI for Program Mgmt, Operational Assistance Services - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center is seeking technical personnel from the private sector to provide subject matter expertise and help manage the research and development hub, Bloomberg Government reported Tuesday.

According to JAIC’s request for information, the center intends to select up to two small businesses to provide contract personnel that will handle a range of operations including systems analysis and software architecture development.

The Department of Defense unit plans to hire 18 to 40 ”highly technical” staff to perform program management and R&D support services for military and DoD researchers at JAIC throughout this fiscal year.

Areas of expertise covered by the solicitation include information security, systems engineering, intelligent systems development and cognitive science.

Interested parties may submit responses to the RFI through April 30.
