Starlab Space Taps Palantir Technologies for Commercial Space Station O&M Support - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Palantir Technologies will provide support for the Starlab commercial space station as a strategic partner to Starlab Space, a joint venture involving Airbus, MDA Space, Mitsubishi Corporation and Voyager Space.

Starlab Space said Monday that it will work with Palantir to enhance the space station’s operations using digital twins and artificial intelligence technologies.

Palantir will contribute technology that will help identify potential issues and enable predictive maintenance.

Commenting on the partnership, Starlab Space CEO Tim Kopra described Palantir’s AI technologies as revolutionary in the area of space station operation and management. He also predicted that Palantir’s data analytics and predictive modeling expertise will result in innovation and efficiency.

“Together, we are poised to advance the frontiers of space research and ensure we remain resilient, effective and adaptive as we forge into this new era of commercial space exploration,” Kopra added.

For his part, Palantir co-founder and CEO Alexander Karp said, “We could not be more enthusiastic about our partnership as we work to extend our competitive edge through the provision of decisive and real-time intelligence around the world and in space.”
