Analygence Receives NIST Contract for Cybersecurity Privacy Platform Support

Analygence Receives NIST Contract for Cybersecurity Privacy Platform Support - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Analygence was awarded a task order by the National Institute of Standards and Technology to provide support for its Cybersecurity and Privacy Platform.

The cyber and intelligence company said Thursday it will aid NIST in developing, testing and deploying web applications and web-based services including the National Vulnerability Database, National Checklist Program, and Cybersecurity and Privacy Reference Tool.

Analygence will also work with NIST in crafting a new method to lessen measurement uncertainty in vulnerabilities and standardize vulnerability descriptions. The new approach would involve the use of a structured characterization format called a vulnerability ontology or “Vulntology.”

The task order was awarded using the NIST Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The award is not the first collaboration between NIST and the Maryland-based cybersecurity company.

In June, Analygence was awarded a $125 million IDIQ contract to help NIST process cyber vulnerabilities for the National Vulnerability Database. Also, the company and two others secured a $125 million contract in 2023 to provide cybersecurity and privacy support services to the Computer Security Division, Applied Cybersecurity Division and other agency divisions.
