Cloud EbizConcurrent Technologies Corp. has received a provisional authority-to-operate from a third-party assessment organization under the Federal Risk Authorization and Management Program.

The P-ATO from Knowledge Consulting Group was for CTC’s Unclassified Remote Hosted Desktop software-as-a-service offerings, KCG announced Wednesday.

With this approval, CTC became the first company to have its SaaS tools complete the process and be authorized by the FedAMP Joint Authorization Board.

“We wanted to ensure we were way ahead of the game in terms of becoming certified prior to the June 2014 deadline for agencies to be using FedRAMP approved solution providers,” said Greg Hoffman, CTC program manager of URHD.

Autonomic Resources also worked with CTC to go through the FedRAMP process in order to obtain approval for an infrastructure-as-a-service offering (click here to read GovCon Wire’s coverage).
