Marilyn Crouther - HP, ExecutiveMosaicHewlett-Packard conducts service delivery reviews to gain new technological ideas and use these to improve customer experience, Washington Technology reported Wednesday.

Nick Wakeman writes that Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager for public sector at HP Enterprise Services, has said the current business landscape pushes HP to collaborate with clients on balancing cost and efficiency.

“We’ve aligned our chief technology officers to our market-facing teams,” Crouther told the publication, adding, “It’s not a big change in terms of organization, but it’s a big change in prioritization and focus and how to bring innovation that is effective from a cost perspective.”

Wakeman reports that HP is focused on developing information technology products in the security, healthcare, analytics and mobility areas.

The Navy has re-enlisted HP to help the company transition from its Navy Marines Corps Intranet to a Next-Generation Enterprise Network.

“Winning a recompete is the highest compliment,” Crouther stated.

“In the public sector today with the frequency of recompetes, you really need to manage costs and make that part of your culture and the fabric of how you do business,” she added.
