leidos_purpleLeidos has secured a potential five-year, $25 million prime contract from the U.S. Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to provide the Defense Logistics Agency – Energy with technical, systems engineering and management support.

The company said Tuesday it will perform engineering analysis and advisory services on the Fuels Manager Defense leak detection systems of its subsidiary Varec, which is implemented in at least 600 Defense Department fuel facilities.

“Leidos is pleased to continue our support of the warfighter through SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic as they ensure DLA-Energy environmental compliance with federal and state petroleum storage tank and pipeline regulations,” said Larry Hill, a Leidos group president.

The company will also support annual training and systems certification.
