DeltekDeltek has launched a new educational program with the aim to keep companies up to date on government contracting procedures and federal acquisition regulations.

The company said Friday it offers several GovCon courses year-round at its learning facility in Herndon, Virginia.

“Knowledge of federal government regulations can be a barrier to market entry for many businesses,” said Dan Carusi, Deltek University vice president and chief learning officer.

Carusi added that each GovCon course provides continuing professional education credits for CPA, PMP, CAPM and CISSP credential holders.

The training program is designed to provide enrollees with resource materials about the federal contract procurement cycle, timekeeping and labor policies, and the account and auditing aspects of GovCon, among other subjects.
