General Dynamics‘ information technology business unit will continue to work with Arkansas to expand the state’s healthcare analytic engine and reporting system.

The business will implement additional episodes and functionality on the Arkansas Department of Human Services’ analytics engine over the next four years, General Dynamics said Thursday.

Marcus Collier, senior vice president of the IT business’ health and civilian solutions division, said Arkansas sought the company’s help to gather analytics and data insights to evaluate population health and care quality..

“General Dynamics has supported the Arkansas Medicaid program in various capacities since 2008,” Collier added.

General Dynamics will also provide training to Arkansas DHS users and support to agents.
