Ingram Micro subsidiary Promark Technology has added VMware products to Promark’s General Services Administration schedule in a push to give channel partners greater access to the public sector market.
Ingram Micro said Monday it has also launched the Public Sector Rewards Club, a new program that aims to enable partner resellers with the resources and other tools they need to refine their products and services.
The Santa Ana, California-based technology firm said Technology for Education has been one of the several partners that attribute business activity to the Rewards Club.
TFE has held a presentation event and forum for Texas educators on the possibilities of e-learning using virtualization, cloud computing and other 21st century digital classroom technologies.
“The public sector is lined with opportunity for channel partners and we’re pleased to expand our successful relationship with VMware to include our Promark GSA schedule and new Rewards Club partner enablement program,” said Bill Brandel, executive director for the advanced computing division at Ingram Micro.
