Dan Huberty, vice president and chief technology officer at Unisys, has discussed the trends Unisys says could shape the future of data center.

Huberty said Tuesday the hybrid service model and the economics of information technology are some of the trends that he believes will shape the data center of the future.

He said in a podcast the hybrid model is the most conducive delivery model to meeting the demands of data centers in the future.

Huberty added that the lines between the public and private cloud platforms will be blurred within the next 18 months as he expects more production workloads to take place.

He also highlighted in the podcast the role information security plays in data centers.
