Cloud Computing, ExecutiveBizInfoReliance has been awarded a 12-month contract to help the Department of Health and Human Services create and test enterprise applications with Amazon Web Services cloud technology.

The technology consulting firm said Monday it will provide AWS cloud computing services as well as app development and testing support to HHS’ office of the chief information officer.

The contract also calls for InfoReliance to work with the HHS OCIO to plan, design and implement cloud-based tools across the agency’s enterprise.

AWS’ technology is designed to help users to build prototype apps, analyze data and collaborate with each other in a cloud environment.
