Kay Kapoor, president of AT&T’s government solutions business and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list for 2015, has highlighted the company’s mission to provide mobile technology services to government clients through its existing contracts.

Kapoor wrote in a blog post published Monday that federal agencies are adopting mobility, cloud services, collaboration tools and analytics to deliver services and achieve their mission goals.

“In this new mobile, virtual and global world, our technology services and capabilities have never been more relevant or vital to help our federal government have a profoundly positive impact. And we are eager to deliver,” she wrote.

Kapoor also described the company’s project to help Department of Veterans Affairs physicians, clinicians and caregivers communicate and share data via mobile and connected devices.

She notes the company also recently delivered mobility services and devices to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to assist the agency in implementing early intervention programs at U.S. airports.

AT&T is also under contract to upgrade the State Department’s telecommunications systems for the nearly 275 U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide, as well as the General Services Administration’s enterprise mobility technology.

At the U.S. Postal Service, the company provides applications for tracking packages, notifying customers, facilitating post office transactions and for call center support services.
