cybersecurityRSA and A10 Networks have moved to further help their joint clients detect threats in encrypted traffic by adding A10’s SSL inspection feature to RSA’s security analytics platform.

RSA has verified the interoperability of A10 Thunder Application Delivery Controller‘s SSL Insight feature with its security analytics offering through RSA’s Ready Technology Partner Program, A10 Networks said Monday.

Chad Loeven, director of partnerships at RSA, said the company intends for A10’s feature to help customers take control over “complex security threats at scale.”

The SSL inspection system is meant to work with the RSA security analytics platform to examine SSL traffic and disclose threats in encrypted traffic.

“Joint A10 and RSA customers can now utilize these high-performance SSL Insight technologies to gain full visibility into all communications,” added Paul Nicholson, director of product marketing at A10 Networks.

The Thunder ADC also works to remove SSL vulnerabilities in corporate defenses and adjust RSA security analytics deployments with load balancing.
