ICF InternationalICF International has received a $38.8 million blanket purchase agreement from the Environmental Protection Agency to perform technical and analytical services for the Energy Star program.

The company will work to develop specifications for Energy Star-labeled products and conduct outreach programs for stakeholders under the recompete contract, ICF said Wednesday.

The contract contains a one-year base period and four option years.

“We look forward to working with EPA to identify the next level of energy saving products and homes which will enable Americans to further reduce their energy consumption and resultant emissions,” said Paul Vrabel, vice president for ICF International.

ICF’s research staff and engineers currently work to analyze more than 70 product categories, including lighting, consumer electronics and commercial food service.
