Cloud securityDeltek has found that 38 cloud computing platforms from industry are certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to date.

Kyra Fussell, a senior research analyst at Deltek, writes in a blog post published Tuesday that vendors provide their FedRAMP-compliant offerings to government clients using infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service delivery models.

Eighteen cloud products have been certified by the FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board, 17 approved by federal agencies and three gained authorization through a CSP supplied assessment report since the program’s launch in June 2012, Fussell noted.

She added that the U.S. General Services Administration‘s program management office is finalizing a guidance document intended to help agencies procure authorized cloud offerings.
