StockMissileLaunchMDAMBDA and the Georgian defense agency have closed on a contract for the company to provide air defense weapon systems to the Georgia’s military, Civil.Ge reported Friday.

CEO Antoine Bouvier and Georgian Defense Minister Tina Khidasheli signed the contract Friday in Paris.

MBDA is a consortium of BAE Systems, Airbus Group and Finmeccanica.

Georgia also ordered air defense command and control systems as well as ground-based surveillance radars from Raytheon and Thales Group‘s joint venture ThalesRaytheonSystems through a separate contract, the report said.

The Georgian defense agency did not disclose the terms of both deals.
