LGS Innovations has won a one-year, $9.5 million task order to provide telecommunications cables for the U.S. Navy’s submarine fleet.
The company will supply the military branch with cable assemblies that comply with the Hydro-Acoustic Data Acquisition System – Truck Cable standard, the Defense Department said Monday.
LGS Innovations will perform work through July 2016 in High Point, Carolina.
The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center received two bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via the FedBizOpps website and is obligating full amount from the service branch’s fiscal 2015 research, testing, development and evaluation funds.
